Updater (yes i used search first)

ok i have used saerched and found nothing on whether or not a new updater version for mac is out, i have ran it and it says non compabitle for auto update u can get it at mainsite or forums, yet it is on niether, so ya some help would be nice but until i get an answer ill use chaos\'s updater

Search harder! The updater is working (after you update, which is a paradox, but w/e). If you follow the guide, the updater should work fine (barring that annoying bug that means we need to rebuild :\\ ).

I know. After you update with mine, the PS one should work. If it doesn\'t, then just wait for the new build and try it then. Glad mine\'s working well, though.

alas, I\'m afraid it didn\'t work for me. I started with a fresh .10, deleted the file ya\'ll named, ran Updater.jar but game won\'t run and \"regular\" updater won\'t either.

I shall wait...

Well, I had to update to Tiger, MAc OS 10.4.2 to get pass the psclient crashing
and pssetup has always crashed this time around.   Anyway I can create a
character and get into the game.   In the game i can talk and kill and fortunately I am in a guild where i got money and weapons from one  of the leaders.
   However I got 2 sabers and 2 broadswords which would have been nice but when i either right or left click on them to move  them to my hands, or sell them or give them away, I crash every time.   I also crash when I hit the guild and group buttons.    I crash when i try to sell loot and when I try to use the button menu for picking up loot.   Sometimes I can loot using /loot rat or /loot gobble.
At least I am building up pps (progression points) for later use in the game.
   Also I got a glyph but can not make use of  it since the spell screen is goofed up.

A PC is very big tempatation for me right now.   My computer in slow anyway at 800  MHz Power PC G4, 768 MB SDRAM and 36 VRAM.

At least i am not a ghost anymore.   I am curious what level (quality) of play ChaOs is able to play.   Can some Mac players play PS with no major problems?

Well, I have up to date builds cause I built them myself...

As soon as I find dfryer, I\'ll figure out how to build it for release. *goes on IRC to look for dfryer*

cool, hey i have a small bug in ure updater, everytime i run it it resets my saved password, account, turns sounds on etc, i was wondering if this was on purpose or not

Don\'t check Update All Files every time.
