sorry  about the shading/. some was lost in the initial scan and the rest was lost when i had to transfer it into phtoshop.  which is sucky. oh well. here goes...

http://img371.imageshack.us/my.php?image=bots2lp.jpg
http://img373.imageshack.us/my.php?image=hammerweilder3bh.jpg
http://img366.imageshack.us/my.php?image=kranwarrior3nu.jpg
http://img366.imageshack.us/my.php?image=kran8ue.jpg
http://img378.imageshack.us/my.php?image=thedeamon0fz.jpg
http://img365.imageshack.us/my.php?image=xachasketch3hj.jpg

the first one is some sort of robot or somthing ? im not too sure really.
the second is a hammer weilder. :P not great  but then neither am i . oh and i forgot to shade this one ..
the third is a kran, sword and all..... most ofthe shading was lost in this picture.
the next is another  kran.
the next is a deamon. it just came out of my head and so i went and drew it... again a bunch of the shading was lost  particularly on the legs.
the last is my little idea of a xacha.  not greata and  i drew it small. some shading was lost.

and finnaly   ill just post down the link to my gallery and stick it all in there...

enjoy. i  will be busy from now on ( exams and such . &*%?! ) but i will try and keep this up dated when i have time.

Nice artwork Lokii.

Only suggestion I can give is to try and get your file size down. 847k is way too large for a \'monotone\' image. If it is for onscreen only, change your res to 72, and even at medium jpeg compression, your onscreen viewing quality will be fine, you should be able to get your files down to around 100-120k :)

I\'m liking the different approach to this guy. Gives him a lot of character in my opinion. I also like the hair stylings of the hammerwielder. He feels like some ancient Mongol warrior to me.

First, use the axe to cut \"pencilhand 7.5\" and \"papertree 4.6\" into small peices. ;)

Photoshop = Perfection. :)

? Depending on your setup you should be able to scan straight from Photoshop, which is fine for this type of work.
? When scanning you can go to \"File\" and scroll down to \"Import\" and pick your scanning gear from there. It \'should\' be at the bottom of the pop out window. If not just scan to the desktop or your scans folder. If you can scan in at 72dpi, all the better.
? Once document is in Photoshop got to \"Image\" and scroll down to \"Image size\". Turn off \"Resample Image\" (this may change the original document dimensions) and change your resolution to 72. Keep an eye on the dimensions of your file, change it (manually) to approx A4/US Letter (297hx210w, that seems to be the sheet size you are drawing on). The \"Resample Image\" process can differ, I think, it \'remembers\' how the last document was resized, just keep an eye on it.
? Then, \"Save as\" jpeg, turn on \"Preview\" in the window. You can probably go down to about 2-4 in the image quality slider without the image deteriorating too much. At the bottom of the window there is a inner window showing the new size of the file. 100-120 is what you should be aiming for. It will show a lower value than what the file will actually end up being saved at, approx 15-30k more.

Thats pretty much it.
Hope that is helpful my fellow Guild Member

but without pencilhand 7.5  i wouldnt have been able to draw...  i mean look... this program has a thumb !!
and papertree... some people have to program and edit it a bit so you can successfully use pencilhand (and other programs such as penhand)
with papertree..... yeah illl shut up with the bad computer crud now ...

and thank you oh photoshop masterman.  :D   i shall try this. i have another picture anyway.  :P

Np :)

One other thing, \"jpeg\" is what they call a \'lossy\' format, that is, everytime you save as a jpeg (even on the highest quality setting) it deteriorates in quality. No real drama, just keep the \'saves\' to a minimum!

Can\'t wait to see some more of your art! :)

Think I might have to post some more myself.
