Hi Anese! Well, we have a great much more to offer to Newbies that is very true. We handpick our members, and the members that are polite and seem like nice people are invited.

We have no less to offer to experienced players. We often have the high-level monster hunts, (We often invite the newblets to those too :P ) and after what we do to the new players 99% of the time they feel obligated to return the favor to us and the other new players. And the wonderful fellowship also keeps all members in.

As far as my knowlege goes, only 2 members left the guild knights (And those were because of Shalmaneser so it doesn\'t really count). Practially everybody who joined the Guild Knights are happy with the guild.

Really? GKs are kill stealing? Of course, with the lag problems now almost everybody is kill stealing by mistake because other people are either invisible or across the room. :P I\'ve had many a player laugh about how this happened to them..
BUt as long as they realize it and apoligize

Guild Knights will return. When I feel like it.

I dont mean members who are experienced with a sword or whatever in game and can kill things quickly or efficiently.  All those stats will be wiped away soon, and later I assume these swords will be much harder to come by so it will be impossible to equip a guild such as yours, unless we can simply buy them in the future.

But how many members do you have that are learning what PS is?  So many things here you can only get from being here for a good amount of time.  And in addition, how many of your members are frequenters of the forums or ever show in IRC?    This may sound a little funny, but PS is more than a one headed monster (ingame playing).  Im not trying to be rude, I know how basic criticism is now known as flame because we do have quite a few sensitive people here now, but I would suggest you look back at some of the guild threads from a year plus ago.  But please dont post on them :P.

*yawn*  What\'s this?  More of Antra\'s lies?  Far more than a mere two members have left the guild knights.  Perhaps, Antra, your memory is failing you?

May your metal fail in battle as your memory fails in speach.

Sindar left, came back, then left again permanently.  Drakmar or something left because of fighting and insults.  I left because of Sindar, then came back because so many people were asking me to join, then I had to leave again because so many people were accusing me of having an abrasive personality (among other things).

Before that, there were other people that came and went as well.  But this is beside the point... far more than 2 people have left the guild knights in it\'s recent history.

Lies?! Pah \"As far as my knowlege goes\". THis means that I have SEEN only 2 people leave. Read carefully please.

You\'re just unhappy because I supported the people who wanted you to leave to protect our guild reputation..

Why should I be unhappy?  Your own words do you more harm than a blade ever could.  That is cause for rejoice!

The Guild Knights are supposed to be neutral.  Why then is it that they focus on being nice, inviting good people, kicking out evil influences, fighting evil, etc etc?

I think you\'re confusing things.  Yes, there\'s a difference between having an abrasive personality, and being evil-alligned.  That much is true.  However, having an abrasive personality fits in with an evil-alignment.  It can also fit in with a good-allignment as well -- for instance, AD&D-style chaotic good (vigilantes ).  You can also look at members of other guilds like the Dragon Council who claim to be good characters within neutral guilds, but they\'ve also proven to be highly \"abrasive\" under certain circumstances.  I\'m not talking just from the point of view of Shalmaneser -- I\'m also refering to observations of them relate to other characters, as well as myself using various alternate names.

The joke is that I was hardly the only \"bad apple\" if we\'re too asume that I was a \"bad apple\" at all.  During the time I spent with guild knights, I took notice of quite a few individuals who were rather colourful.  Sindar makes the top of that list, and he like myself had the good sense to leave the guild.  Unlike him, I didn\'t have the good sense to stay away once invited back.

The further joke is that no one spoke to me personally or on the guild chat before I was made to leave.  Since then, only Antra has spoken to me personally about the issues as a chief orchestrator of my resignation.  The rest have remained silent, both before and after, except to chime in on the forums in minor ways among the comfort of the flock.  It all happened behind closed doors in a very interesting way:  Sirunie was forced by a select group of members within his own guild to kick out one of his friends, or alternatively to see the threat of a split within his own guild.  I question the loyalty of anyone who would force their leader into such a position.

Well I personally would kick out the opposition (the group of members)  in that case...

It\'s not that simple.  Sirunie values the unity of his guild.  Kicking out one member is much simpler than saying \"Ok.  You\'re going to have to choose between me and Antra.\" or whatever the case may be.  Further, at least one of Sirunie\'s friends were among the voices of opposition.  He was in a hard position.

Perhaps he made the wrong decision, but I don\'t think one can be angry at him for making it.

Hi,
My name is alex.  i just dl'ed this game yesterday and little do i know they are in the middle of an update.  so i am extrremly anxious to start playing this game as i have never played before.  i was looking at guilds whie waiting for the update and i came across you guys.  i am very interested in joining so let me tell you what i am thinking about for a character.  i want my character to be either a Kran or an Enkidukai.  i am 85 percent sure however i will choose the Kran.  i wish him to be very powerfull in mele skills and i am not worried so much about magic yet.  i like to play in groups and kill big creatures and i love being the one taking damage so my teamates can do what they have to do.
The main thing that got me interested in this guild was when it said that people share in the guild.  this i liked very much.  i always play games were people play together an i always drop games were people play for themeselves.  for me teamwork in a game is what makes the game better.
So, i hope you will allow me to join your guild and i look foreward to playing with all of you if i do join.
BTW i am running on a mac so if anyone is running *teamspeex* (not teamspeak2) please tell me.

I'm afraid the guild knights are no more.  You might try the Dragon Council, but they have baggage...
