Web browser version

I think planeshift should make the game in the browser with no downloads required.  Sorry if this is to much to ask but my computer doesnt support downloads.

No, this is completely impossible, sorry.

Unless you\'d care to make a PS clone from scratch using Java.. :P

You\'re computer doesn\'t support downloads?! Why? You need to download this page to view it you know.

That often the case for school computers. Well, not so much \"supported\", but \"allowed\" :D

Hm... that kind of makes you wonder why they never did a browser version of EQ2... :D

PS is way too big to do a browser version. You would have to wait the same 6 hours for the page to load every time. Just burn the art/code onto a CD and if the GFX on the PC you\'re using is up to it, you can play.

Another option is a 512 mb usb stick.  copy the Planeshift directory there and bammo! Portable planshift that can get scratched. You can find them reasonably cheap on ebay.  Then as has been said before, just run psclient and if the computer can handle it, then you are in good shape.
