Buggy Rogues
« on: September 11, 2005, 02:05:40 am »
After the Rogue is defeated, it sometimes continues to attack and do damage...I don\'t really think it\'s supposed to do that

i hope i did that right

oftentimes after he is defeated he\'ll spin around multiple times, if that\'s also something that can be considered buggy

It\'s probably another packets-processed-out-of-order bug.  I\'ve been seeing HP bars jump down and up in a fight.  Same thing; the messages handling them are being handled out of order.  And, since we\'re using UDP...

Seen it from several different types of MOB(s).  Funniest was from Consumer(s) that seem to die as expected, then get up and leave after you loot them.
Consumer: \"That was mine, if you are going to take it, then I\'ll leave\"

A good one was a Bandit that seemed to hit the ground a couple times after it fell dead.  Looked like it was throwing a sissy fit because it got beat.
