Forbidden Spells...

Ok, I know that in reality the GM\'s only have these spells because they\'re somehow \"bugged\" as they say it...I\'ve seen Zayek use healing spells, and he told me that the Reflection glyph was a spell called \"Meteor\" regardless of if its bugged or not, the point of the game being available to the public is to find and test bugs in the game to get them fixed...If you don\'t let the public use most of the magic, then how are we going to be able to find the bugs?

Clearly theres another reason, I\'ve seen 2 spells not available to the public being used and working, and this screenshot here proves that theres more completed spells...



EDIT: This is in Wish List because I just wish we had more spells available to us, theres no real reason that the spells aren\'t released yet...

the \'bugged spells\' will be released when they are no longer bugged.

They should release the ones that aren\'t bugged though ;P

Theres a healing spell that looks like rock armor that works, and the Meteor spell works apperantly...And the spell in the screenshot, since Flame Burst causes crashes it shouldn\'t be released yet then :/

i know.... i gave zayek the glyphs.

and like you said looks like rock armor... hints at wrong spell affect?

The one that looked like rock armor, I meant that when casted it had the same looks as rock armor (with the lights flashing around the player) but it healed everyone in that sector I think, since a system message appeared \"Some of your wounds were healed...\"

well.. its quite likely that healing everyone is a bug.. for sucha  low leveled spell. also i know that alot of the other glyphs had bad

We all know that the Dev team releases things in waves, whenever there is enough new content around for a next update they make one. So I think we can probably expect spells to be released with the next big update.

It has been clearly said before that they won\'t be releasing everything as soon as it is finished but chose to wait and a bunch of things at once.

That screenshot is old, old old. As far as I know, that effect doesn\'t even work anymore- the system was changed a few times to make it as lovely as it is now. But that was just a test of what they could do months ago :P
As for the spells not avaialble, well, I tested some of them, and the main problem is they are not balanced at all. Meteor would be a pain to even get the requiremnts to cast now, and only to do... twice the damage of flame burst. It\'s quite sad I think.
From a coding stand point however, everything is perfectly working. there are atleast 6 spells I\'ve used that could be sold/given for quests. They just need to be added in and raised in power for goodness sake.

Training ways should raise the power of the magic...Instead of having a set power for spells, you should be able to learn how to perfect spells in that way your training, so it can become stronger and faster...

Doesn\'t skill level determine the chance of a spell working or not?


Before the wipe, I had high red way due to a bug.  As a result, every fire blast dealt 100 damage.  Is this no longer the case?
