Please help!

I`ve just downloaded game and installed it, and run update! its updating too slow and always the 1 file is downloading :art/world/akkaio.zip/cache/genmesh_lm/************* always changes this ******** part
and its taking a 1 hour allmost please help!

Well, if it actually says it\'s doing stuff... you\'ll just have to wait.  The first update takes time; be patient.

The update server are a big joke and its not fun.

Well, today in particular, yes.  The server has been having issues recently...  It\'s much worse than it normally is.

It\'s not the server but the updater. It\'s working on the zip-files all the time in stead of downloading.

If it\'s permanently stalled on one zip, close the updater and delete that zip.  Then run the updater again.

Wouldn\'t it be better to manually patch the patch myself.... but i can\'t find any patch...

And it was this normal to update it then im cool but i don sense it is normal

Well... run the updater in \"recover mode\".  (use the link in PS\'s start menu folder, or stick a -auto onto the updater\'s command)  If you see a pile of VFS errors, there\'s a fix for that.

Download this:
http://www.planeshift.it/download/temp/vfs.dll
and replace your old one in your PlaneShift folder with it.
