Hi i can\'t get my updates to work....they get going and they last for awhile then they stop...ITS SO ANNOYING!!!if theres anyother way i can get updates plz tell me OR if you know how to fix this problem(and by the way i have uninstalled and reinstalled like 10 times hoping that would fix it....you\'d think i would think it didn\'t work after the fifth time but....

Oh and by the way I read the thinger for help on the site and it said there was som updater recover button...so if any1 would be so kind as to tell me where that is maybe that would help AND if they have any other ideas to make it work that would be GREATLY appreacited<---did i spell that right?

Try running recovery mode

ok i found the recovory mode thinger and i used it so no worries im good now...unless this dowsnt work... <.< >.>

Mmmm i try both modes normal and recover still get very slow speed then seems to stop all together.

it taken me 4 days to download 9mb of updates
can some one please go to the update server and find out why it being slow and give a offical reason.

i read all throught here people try later i tryed at sorts of times over last 4 days and still the same.

if you want people to play the game then why not fix the update server ? find strange that no one offical seems to have said anything.

manual download a zip file with updates in fine let me have it if it download faster.

some people may not be playing as they try updateing get no where and delete of there system there goes possable players and if you plan on charging at any point there goes money in the bank.

well thats my rant over hope some offical reads and does something about it

Ok ya my updates are still just stopping here and there...and the worst part is they don\'t stop till like the end...so this is crap...so if any1 has any ideas why this should be happeneing it would be awsom if you could post it here or why won\'t they (planeshift people) fix this problem because this isn\'t the only thread about the update problem

I have the same problem, although I havn?t tried the recovery mode. the most it did was 4% in 15 minutes, and then it stopped.
So please do something, this seems like an insanely good game, I want to play it

IT IS AN INSANELY GOOD GAME!!! but ya i dont know why the people won\'t take notice of this its a really big issue right now because u can\'t really play without the proper updates so..

Would it do anything strange to the game, if I ran both the recover mode and the normal update at the same time?
Then at least there would be a 9% chance of being able to play the game tomorrow.

Or could I even have multiple updaters running at the same time?

well actually if u play the game then start up all the updaters the game works...but u need to start the game first cause if u start the updaters first u cant play

lol...ok ya i tried that more then one updater thinger and it doesn\'t work...but the playing the game and using the update thinger works so.

Irritating that it dosn?t work, I thougt it was a good idea.

oh well... allways look at the bright side, I can?t play much the nex 14 days, and it will probably have downloaded about 50% by that time.

but I will try that play and download thing later this evening, if it stops again.

I just wanted to pop in here to say that the current problem with the updater is not \"normal\".  Up until recently it was working just fine.  I know this little tidbit of information is not very comforting to those who can\'t play because of the problem, but please be assured that this is definitely not considered \"OK\" by any means.  The issue will be resolved; the only question is exactly how long it will take.
