Hey i dled planeshift today and it jsut is really making me mad
when i first went in to make a character the screen size didnt fit and i couldnt hit create char
so i went on forums looked at mostly all forums and saw how much link is an unliked player so dont make fun of me and dont bother psotert here link
but anyways i saw i could change the size by going into ps.client.cfg i tried to open it in microsoft word, wordpad, and notepad they all said it didnt exist so i went in my compouter c drive programs plane shift and saw it there and tried to open it it didnt work either so i decided to go into the settings and change the resolution which then made everything so tiny but the game was then a window but atleast i could see it all so i made a character and join the ps.gamiix.com server and as i know when u choose kran it doesnt exist so i got a dwarf and then the slow bug kicked in and i had to walk really slow everywere but then i noticed i was not in the town i was under it like in cstrike how when ur in observer mode and u go through a wall its all fuzzy and crap
so finaly i decided to make a new character it also worked and i spawned in the town without the fuzzy thin but i still had the slow bug and i couldnt go awyawere so i got fed up and came back to the forums and posted this to see if anyone else has had the same problems and fixed them.
im running on a 2 computer routed network
windows xp
geforce 2 card with all driver updates
the windows version of planeshift
o ya by the way i also tried using the slow safe version cause i saw that it supposed to work better with windows xp but all it does it make everyhing immposssible to read and makes it worse
