Planeshift Landmarks

I noticed that Kada\'El\'s Tavern actually exists in Yliakum now. At least in the screenshots it does :]

How about the Castle of Princess Aelya? I can see lots of black spikey towers like something out of Mordor.

good idea, itd be great for places like those to become reality (Well, reality in a game :P) other places as well, i cant think of any at the moment, but some pop up every now and then ;)

best idea i have ever heard on this forum :]

i would sure love to have a castle like mordors hehe. maybe ill just take over mordors castle and teleport it into yliakum.

and i suppose every official guild should have their own stronghold to. i suppose cyo could have his own little cave to hide in. they could call it \"cyo\'s stinking cave\" :P

Surprisingly this is one of the best ideas in a long time on these boards, in my opinion.
But there is always the upset factor that must be included. You see, last time , when Kada got the tavern, Stickman and Deadly Pencil got upset. See that equals bad, and bad equals no good. And i have no real idea as to how this may be solved. But otherwise, I am all up for this idea.

P.S. you have heard my proposal, \"water front property\" to corner the global market in realstate :D

yes...and where are stickman and deadlypencil now? gone? yea,thats right why please the people who dont stick around long enough

anyways, anyone got complaints about it, the devs just made a hole in the groudn for them and stick them there then cover them up and call it stickman\'s pit...there, their happy and were happy

Let em whine. I would hate to not see a good addition to the game  because some people had  to be selfish.

I think th Dev team should study Morrowind for ideas on landmarks. that game has such cool landmarks and building designs. Not copy anything of course, but has anyone ever stood on the canal arches of Belmora? It\'s awesome. Giant Shrooms, buildings like molluscs. Actually, it might clash with the mytholigical part of the story, so I dunno.

I know those arches in Belmora well.  Excellent idea Ff.  Last I checked we had one hill and the textures on and around that hill were all screwed up.  Hopefully some day we will be able to pull off environments comprable to Morrowinds.

Actually the thieving system in MW is good too. Anyone who was a thief would have to be hell bent on it, it takes a LONG time to even learn how to pickpocket even decently (and that was with a char who was born for the job), much less things like robbing caravans and stuff. I wondered off subject, sorry. Anyway. I haven\'t really played in a long time, so I\'m not sure what it looks like now, but I loved the way each village looked SO differant from another.

On the dev team, we call the landmarks you are talking about \"Wonders\". (Like the 7 wonders of the world, etc.)

And don\'t worry, Boonet has all kinds of crazy ideas to make you gnash your teeth in shame and frustration at your low FPS rates...  ;-)

maybe only the original players of planeshift get these landmarks. that way later players couldnt whine about it. they should have been here sooner eh? ;)

About how many wonders can we intend on seeing? (Like all RPG\'s my goal is to explore the whole world, dungeons and all). The more the merrier, at least until the game lags from it.
