helop me plz i cant log on

ive never played and ive been trying to for the past 3 days whenever i get to loading screen it stops at loading gui then it says it has to shut down and does so i dont know what to do it looks like a reallty good game and i want to try

Oh boy.

Have you made sure that you\'ve updated both the game and your graphics card drivers, disabled sound, and made sure you do not have \"Load All Maps\" enabled?

Also, do you meet or exceed the minimum requirements?

(Try not to double-post in the future - just edit your last post to add more info.)

The options for map loading and sound are in the PlaneShift setup application, same directory as the updater. If you\'re on Windows, it can also be accessed through Start -> Programs -> PlaneShift Crystal Blue -> PlaneShift Setup.

ok now to test it might take a whil this take forever to load

edit: its still not working and now its asking me to save a diagnostic file

Wait. forever to load? Sounds like you have load all maps on. Make sure the checkbox in the settings.exe is UNCHECKED.

Load all maps makes the game crash at the loading screen after about 5 minutes of loading.
Try turning the sound off (also in settings.exe).

What is the error number? (Should come up when it gives you the error message and should be on the diagnostic file.
