Signature Text Length Extended

Could the devs please increase the signature length to like 500 instead of 300? 300 is pretty pathetic since it counts every space and letter. Plus text doesn\'t take up much room so people could hardly tell the difference of 500.

The reason is that I can\'t put in any of my favorite quotes because they\'re too long. :(

In my opinion, it should be done on lines, not characters, since that makes more sense.  Or total space that your signature takes up, I think.

I\'d like to agree, actually... There are a lot of ways to customize text, whether with html or BB code; and just changing colors, fonts, sizes, and styles of various text pieces, adding a single properly sized image, and including a single link often doesn\'t work due to the current maximum characters setting.

Yeah, or when you want to place multiple links, which will show up as short text/images in the end anyway...

It actually would be helpful.. Colour changes etc just use too much room..

I think they are discussing length (number of characters), not height (number of pixels). I think the whole thing should be done by total pixels (as ramlambmoo alluded to).

I like the way it is.  Flashy signatures are annoying.  Not that I\'d complain or anything...

I don\'t mind the height now... but if someone wants a tiny image with a huge URL, they should be able to do that. ;)

I know plenty ;P I work with images constantly. I\'m willing to say that 200 pixels in height may not be a size worth dying about, but anything heigher is really ridiculous for a sig.

I know this is the wrong time and place but what happened to my art thread it took me 9 hours to do that picture and it was cute :(
