Search. It is the answer to all problems. I\'ll give you a hint. Search for \"mining\" in Newbie Help.

Alternatively, read the player\'s guide.

I guess the message is auto explicative ;) You have simply to find a proper place where to dig, and for having that information, I \'d rather follow Cha0s\'s suggestions :-)

if your skill level is 0 in mining make sure youve trained full theory first, if its above 0 you hsould be ok to mine

a little exploration, finding things for yourself does no harm... infact, isnt that what adventerous games are about o.O

Blue is the ammount of progression points you have for getting theoretical training until the next level. If the blue bar goes all the way to the end you have enough pp\'s, if it doesn\'t you don\'t. Yellow is untrained theoretical knowledge. When you go to a trainer and pay them you\'ll see the yellow slowly filling up with green instead, when it is full your theoretical knowledge is completed. Then you need to get some actual practice, until the rest of the bar is green, before you level up.

I hope that makes sense.

So... if i get correct: If blue doesnt pass yellow then you dont have enough pp\'s to get theory and if green passes yellow you got theory. If green gets to the end, you level up!
Correct?

Are the advisor points the lvls then?

I bought a shield but i dont got any light armor theory, does this mean my armor wont work or is it just that bad?

Thanks for the fast reply anyways...

Almost correct about the first point :) With stats, as soon as green passes yellow, the stats increase. With skills however, you generally have to practice to get the green all the way to the end of the entire bar (as I don\'t think any skill bars cover the entire thing).

Advisor points have nothing to do with anything besides just keeping track of how many people you\'ve helped / questions you\'ve answered as an advisor in the Help tab of the chat.

Shields are only decorative at the moment, and there is a separate skill for them that will be implemented in the future, separate from armor training I believe.

I believe that this is a good time for an advertisement:

Here\'s something that really threw me....  the pick needs to be in your right hand.  If you mouseover the sword icon for your right hand in your equipment it says \"Right Held\" or something, but it\'s actually the left.

Seeing the picture of myself with the pick in the wrong hand in this window turned on the lights....

Hopefully this is a known issue

Got that wrong....  you actually have to have the pick in your left hand, which IS properly labeled as your left.   Even though the game will tell you it has to be right held.  I dunno if you can have a weapon in your right hand, haven\'t tried it.

A weapon can be held in either hands...
This is why you see some people holding two weapons

Therefore, I prefer to tell the people: \"Hold the rock pick in your shield hand.\" This seems to be more  unambiguous.

Not completely. The shield hand, is for lefthanded people their right hand, instead of their left.
