If I\'m not completely mistaken, this is the front cover of the books in Jayose\'s library, from back when they were sitting on his desk.
Edit: back cover, front cover has some scribble on it.

Erm...

as a reminder, now Jayose has the books on shelves...
The stand filled with books has gone... :D
But you\'re right, it\'s the model you see when you examine a book (the icon) and the icon that shows that you need a book for making a required action, such as crafting, that needs you to learn from a book its basis.

Still, the question is: What does the symbol mean, and not where it can be found.  8)

The context of an unknown symbol usually makes it easier to guess possible meanings. In this case, it could merely be the guild symbol of Hydlaa\'s book makers guild.
