Very nice, very nice. Though I have a nagging suspicion that\'s my room being invaded ;)
Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

Not sure where your room is or even who you are :P but it took awhile for me to put that together.

It my and Akaylee\'s room :)

We had a little party in it kinda, some took pics but I dont know if they are going to post them on this forum or not. I just hope no one steals the stuff, I would really like to keep that room how it is. (Its a great RP area.)

I hope Sirunie and Jjairr post there screens here. Their\'s are probably better. I made mine small so they could be seen easier.

Looks nice but as far as I know the items will disappear by themselves too after some time. Server makes them go away regularly to prevent huge ammounts of items laying around, no?

Also it seems that everyone likes the tents over at Akkaio, so far I know at least a dozen people who claimed them as their \'home\'. We need more homes! :P

i suppose akkaio is nice if you like the quiet life, but i much rather prefer being in the middle of things.
<Rux> i wish i could say that narrows it down, but the internet is one freaky place

This might have been removed, as I recall a block of gold ore lying on the stairs in the plaza for several days...
Hoewever, I am perfectly sure that these things will not last for more than one single hour, because people will find and pick them up. And I must say I can\'t even hold it against them. Until there is real private property and at least some way to track ownership of items, what is not in your inventory or your hands is pretty much anyone\'s property.

They are the only place (save the tavern rooms) that can be used to RP \"home\", no surprise they\'re popular among RPers.

A warning though: in doing this, while it looks nice and is realistic in a way, you still \"decorate\" the map, with all it\'s negative consequences for other players, since this is a populated area.
- added transfer lag
- added graphical lag

Especially if others follow your example the Oja area may very well become impossible to navigate for lower end systems, which is very bad.

So I must ask you not to do more of it. :(

The only solution is to have houses as separate areas so that items in them will only be transferred and rendered when one enters the house. However, this is AFAICS far away, probably similarly far as the owning of houses itself.

Actually, There was more added, there was also several people in it, and it was up for more then a few hours. :)

I am not sure if someone snagged it or if Akaylee took it down, but it was still there when I logged off at 1pm Pacific

Only things that were left after log in, were 2 picks and a few rat hides. As for Lag, I didn\'t experiance any but the usual chat lag. Which didn\'t do much.

And properties, if you would have seen the one that was up after I logged off, it was just amazing. Sirunie supplied ALOT of items which decorated. I had to adjust them about to make it right though.

A few decorations that arn\'t in that Screen-

Cold glyph + Air glyph = A/C at the back of the room.

Weakness glyph next to the bed

Fire glyph next to the food.

(Both sets at the back of the room)
A Set of swords properly set as small-large-small =  .-*\'*-.

A Shield set

A garbage pile- next to the front exit

Waybead Sentry- 2 set at bottom front, and 2 set on top(Waybread only up for 5mins)

I don\'t know if anyone got the screens of this, but it was fun. I also know someone was next to the house while me and Akaylee were in it, I just don\'t know who... I heard you cough :P

(We started laughing after that :) )

(BTW- DR isn\'t quite... Too much traffic, and thats were me and Sirunie duel alot :P)

As I said, this is a problem for lower end machines. Yours probably is at least midrange, so while you\'ll likely see a drop in FPS, the drop will likely not have been very noticable in terms of smoothness. Also, once all items are transferred, net lag wouldn\'t be there anymore. But this isn\'t about you, but about everyone, almost all of whom will gain nothing from your decoration.

I was in your room when it was in the state you described (only rat hides and rock picks left). I Saw someone who seemed a lot like being AFK the entire time. I don\'t think I made myself audible, nor did I take anything.

The furs are items.
