when i die and walk to the portal to get back into hydlaa it shows me an error saying \"something unexpected has happened in Planeshift:Crystal blue details:EXCEPTIONS_ACSESS_VIOLATION at 6FD43CF8\" i wonder what this is? and if ive double posted im sorry but i cant find it anywhere else.

Greetings,

Have you made sure that you\'ve updated both the game and your graphics card drivers, disabled sound, and made sure you do not have \"Load All Maps\" enabled? (The options for map loading and sound are in the PlaneShift setup application, same directory as the updater. If you\'re on Windows, it can also be accessed through Start -> Programs -> PlaneShift Crystal Blue -> PlaneShift Setup.)

the \"load all maps\" option teases me ...hateful, EVIL thing ...I know it is laughing at me every time I lag at a map boundary and something jumps up and down on my spleen

you could always use keep maps loaded... best compramise... best way to play if you ask me which i am sure you all will.

I have tried keeping all maps loaded, but that option crashes my client before the game loads ...didn\'t seem to be worth it for me ...I can manage without ...and, as for dying, what the heck ...I have been playing a week on the outside ...doesn\'t bug me much (I\'m not proud :P )

well now i am confused cause sometimes it works and sometimes it kicks me out of the game..... i guess i can live with it for now, thanks though

Keep in mind that PlaneShift is still so early in development, that complete avoidance of bugs is nearly impossible :) Even if you take all the precautions you can, you will get random crashes and failures. Just something to deal with for now.
