skill and stat cost?
« on: October 15, 2005, 09:09:14 pm »
to increase say sword from 3-4 cost less than if after creation you had 7 and increase to 8.

what stats if you start with 45 and increase to 46 would that be cheaper than if your stat was 80 to increase to 81?

In general to raise one point are skills or stats more expensive?

What does agility effect? to hit? to dodge? run?
if to hit what does the weapon skill do?

stats are fairly constant. i think there is an increase after 65. skills increase steadily for each level. so after a certian point skills become more expensive then stats to level up. but you can do much more with skills then stats.

besides. leveling up for just leveling\'s sake is incredibly frowned upon around here.

Agility improves the chance of not getting hit by an opponent but the amount per level i\'m not too sure...
And it\'s true that lvl\'s cost more to train if it\'s higher

A lot more, in trias and PP. They actually rise somewhat exponentially.

I found the number of skill pints you need to increase a stat is allways 10 + x, where x is the stat without the last number. For example stat 75, youu would need 17 to incease to 76. So you need one PP more per every tenth stat-point.

The needed PP to increase skills are different, depending on the skill you want to train. But yes, it\'s getting more an more expensive the higher a skill or a stat is trained.

Agility is not only increasing you dodging rate, it also inceases how fast you can hit. So if you\'re really really fast, you can do more hits per second.

Hope this helps answering your questions :)

To answer on that \"skills points cost more as you rank up\" it does by a very lot, i would find myself dishing out atleast 8k for a level to get to 30 LA (this is only the theotrical training)
