its dark in here

Since I am a newb and this is a noob question I hope its ok I put it in here. Anyone have any tips for me on how to get out of death world there. Ive worked at it for a while but just dont seem to get anywhere.

Hiya,

Once you die you must get out by walking through a portal after you climb the spiral staircase. Take it one step at a time, or you will fall! Though if that happens, you can always try typing /unstick (or assigning it to a shortcut and clicking twice).

If you see everything pitch black, try to raise the brightness of your screen. That should make things better.

There is actually some truth to that.... I\'m fine since I have a new monitor, but with my old one I had to keep wawrcraft 3 running in the background to artifically increase the brightness of everything.  It was pitch black in the death realm, difficult to navigate hydlaa at night, and pitch black in ojaveda road at night.
