i dont have a clue what this guy is on about.... and personally think he could find much better uses for the money. i dont think he stands any chance of getting the game made, so why does he not just donate it to charity anyway

also i would like to say that: ctrl alt del > penny arcade
<Rux> i wish i could say that narrows it down, but the internet is one freaky place

Drey: Someone actually did make a mod based on his idea, but he withdrew his proposal and said it was based on \"satire\".  (Listed in Seperot\'s last link).

I\'ve been reading a few things about this guy, and he seems to be pretty nuts.  He takes everything to the extreme.  It seems when anyone disagrees with him, he believes they are evil, and trying to kill him or something.  Most of the email replies I have seen him make that are posted on the internet make childish insults and legal threats over nothing.  What bothers me more is that people in the media/politics are actually listening to this guy.

I think its hilarious that PA is donating the $10k in his name though :)

I live in the States and untill I clicked on your link I had not heard of him.  We have a lot of wacko\'s here and I suspect he is just getting his 15 minutes of fame.

Having said that, I also believe video games and video game makers will have to either police themselves better or be faced with more government regulations.  Just like any other entertainment industry.

I do agree that kids under 18 should not be able to walk into a store and buy an Ao rated game. Half the problem is the parents buy them the game without understanding what it\'s about. there should be people trying to educate the parents about games rather then have some coke snorting wack job charging into the face of it all with no clue as to what he is doing trying to shut down videogames as a whole. thankfully we dont have anyone like that in the UK yet >.>

I live in america, and think this guy should be rated among the greatest morons ever to have lived. He said he would donate $10k to a charity, and then *didn\'t* bad move for a politician!
Warning: Prone to common sense.

You do realize that neo-conservatives are an american creation, no?
And the KKK, Fast food, and Televangelists?

This guy\'s a run of the mill, garden variety nut with a pinch more energy.
As an American, I\'m rather ashamed.

Just as much as I have the right to force feed you my opnions and close down something you injoy to benifit my career?

Theres a difference between opinion and using something people dont understand for political gain.

The guy seems pretty crazy, I wouldn\'t think it would be too far off to think he really believes in what he\'s doing.  I don\'t think alienating an entire group of people about something that is becoming increasingly more popular would really help him climb the political ladder very much.

It isn\'t that he has an opinion.
If your brother joined the KKK, for example, would not you and your family be ashamed?
I am annoyed to have this man from my nation not because he has an opinion, but because he has a retarded opinion.  People like this are the reason I\'m not brutally nationalist like much of America.

One has a right to free speech, but one has an obligation to speak wisely.  Similarly, you\'re allowed to have an opinion, but that does not necessarily mean it\'s a good one.
