armor encumbrance

being new, I have no idea how the encumbrance mechanics actually WORK ...but am wondering

I have noticed that the encumbrance values of the armor in-game are the same equipped or unequipped. Now, having some experience with armor (SCA) ...I can tell you that it is made to be WORN, not carried ...seems to me that the encumbrance value should be reduced by some percentage when equipped. Try carrying a chain shirt (my last one was 40 lbs) in a backpack for a while ...then put it on. The difference is immense ...the design allows the weight to be spread out on the body, lessening the overall impact.
Just a thought ...maybe if this is not something you guys care for ...perhaps the armor skill itself could offset some of the weight.

Different items carried in different ways are different heavy. they can be carried in bag, simply on the back, in a cart. There is huge amount of variations.
The day ps will have this implemented will be day of SB or even later codename release.

What you can failure tommorow, failure today.
