err just a few questions
I\'m gonna check auctions (I\'m new but I\'ve played just enough to get an idea...haha who am I kidding?) but I was wondering where I could find daggers, or what would be a good choice for a rogue? Also, I\'ve read too much about this \"wipe\" on loading screens, what exactly is it going to do? I was figuring all toons would be BAALETED but I\'ve read a little and it seems all items will go away but I\'m still confused.

we had a wipe a few months back. so the next wipe will be soon(tm). but just run as if it isn\'t coming. you\'ll enjoy things more.

the wipe, when it comes, is like format c: /y

emm thanks, what exactly does that mean? lol I\'m uhh, yeah not so great at this interweb buisness. So what exactly will happen when we get wiped? I\'m not too worried, I realize the best success in an online game will come from playing in beta\'s and then playing the actually game (i.e. after they stop wiping), so you know what your doing when you finally have a charracter to save. I just don\'t want to spend countless hours only to loose my toon :(

You won\'t exactly lose your character, but you will lose items and quite possibly all your stats will be reset to what they were upon creation. This is a necessary step to adjust balance and progression in-game :) No idea when this will occur, but you can be sure that there will be more than one wipe in times to come.

Auctions are a little odd in PlaneShift, but they can certainly work - as long as you don\'t spam the channel ;)

Daggers are rather nice at the moment, I prefer them to any swords, though I believe broadswords are popular as well. This is a roleplaying game, so don\'t choose a weapon based on what a character class might stick to, but your character :)

If you truly wish to be a stealthy rogue...
You could consider some other stats which could be implemented and used after the next wipe
There are:
Hide in Shadows
Set Trap
Find Trap
And some others too...Let me check again...
