After screwing around with my Enkidukai skin a bit, I found what I wanted...The problem is, when I tried to save it in the model zipped folder, it didn\'t show on the save window...

How can I save these model images into my folder? :|

*edit* Err...Does changing the model art even change your character looks on the client? >.>

Uh, I guess you should save it outside of the zip and copy it in afterwards.

Now, how can I make it so the other Menkis have the default skin on my client, but my character has the one I edited? or is that even possible?

This is the downfall of editing the skins - you\'re still just as un-unique as everyone else, since there is no way to choose \"Okay, I\'ll have this awesome spiffy-looking fur, but everyone else will look as blah as before.\"

Thats impossible , since there is only one skin for all menki\'s.
When there will be more skins available in the future and you edit one, then only the group of people who had the same skin as you before you edited it, have the same skin.

It would be interesting if clients would upload any non unique skins for everyone to see, that way everyone could have their own personal skin that would be visible to the rest of the game world. Of course, that would just result in someone making a naked lara croft skin for one of the females or something.

Well that would mean every time you log on dowloading about oh 50 MB of skins from people you will never see.

Not to mention that the server would have to be ohh about at the size of the NASA

Yes. This would lead to two problems:
1) The inappropriateness issue you mentioned
2) Stealing. Once your skin is uploaded, then obviously everyone else will have it. Then in turn people will simply use it for themselves as well. So uniqueness would once more be gone.

A system of having your client locally display a selectable skin for your char only would not generate these issues. However, it would still require modifications to the client\'s source code.

Meh...Oh well, was worth a shot...

I deleted that Menki skin, but I wanted something customized...So I just made Krans pink, enjoy Krans when I take a screenshot of what you look like on my client ;)
