Could somebody tell me how to enter advisor mode?

As it is documented in the user guide:

/advisormode on switches it on, /advisormode off switches it off.

/advice playername Your advice here... answers questions.

if oyu can\'t work out /advisormode on/off you shouldnt be advising :|

theres also /advice to claim and /advice text to send the help message

sometimes oyu may want /list_advice_requests

shows stuff you missed

this doesnt make you an insta-GM though, so dont expect love and appraisal

I would say definitely be thoroughly familiar with the Player Guide, proper in-game behavior and rules, and as much of the in-game world itself as you can manage, before even considering advising.

It gives the message \"You are not an advisor\" when you simply type /advisormode. Remember that you have to type the full command, /advisormode on for the advisor status to be activated.

I\'d just like to comment that when you are an advisor you can\'t ask for advice...you\'ll have to turn the advisor mode off to do that...
