I have seen it, being a big fan of the Doom series I have to say it\'s one of the best game to movie conversions I have seen. Watch if you are a fan of Doom or you enjoy horrors, otherwise it may not appeal to you.

Doom movie 3.5/5

how can you say that without getting ashamed and turn yourself into a zombie? *ggg

im a big doom fan myself, especially doom3, and i was pretty disappointed by the movie. yes, they have the BFG, and chainsaw and UTC logos everywhere. but the story just doesnt follow the game by any means.

the explaination for the monsters is all wrong - they came from hell and where studied in the labs. but the movie suggests that there\'s some kind of nano-virus that can turn other people into various monsters. did you ever had a squad following you in the game? there where situations i wished i had some backup but i had to wipe them all by myself.  and hey, where were the plasma balls the imps are supposed to throw after you? i missed that alot.

as a movie, it is quite well done, but it shouldnt be named doom or try to relate to the game. it wasnt really scarry \'cause rock\'s face looks just too silly to be taken serious. so we where laughing most of the time. but my friends and i all agree, that the first-person scene towards the end rockt, it was by far the best part of the movie.

i enjoyed resident evil 1 much more, and imo it was also more scary.

there is more to find than you can lose...
