Guys maybe we should stop with the criticism and start with the constructive criticism. :P

Taken from peoples post to sum it up,

1)Newbs WILL take it the wrong way when they see \"PSFAG\" over a persons head...there\'s no doubt in my mind why they wouldn\'t laugh. ;)

2)As said before there are already enough helpers out there. Hell even just a normal player (most of the time) helps out.

I can tell you Nostradamus that we all would be happy for you to help out but PS guilds are there for Role Play purposes, a part from \"Game Masters\" for obvious reasons.

Just dont take it the wrong way

ok i know this doesnt belong here but zorbels i love your sig. \"commen sense is not so commen\" and the picture.

I dont think your guild out of game is that good of and idea, Im a newbie so Ill tell you what i do;
If i need help I try and figure it out myself then ask whoever i see first, if they dont know or dont answer i ask one other then I try a friend, If they dont know I ask on the addviser channel, then browse forums. Looking at websites doesnt even cross my mind, and \"psfag\" is not the best name for attracting people.

maybe just join a helping guild like knowledge seekers, or even just help random people out
Help I have a sig made how do I get it to go here?

Zorbels, I am glad that your sig prompted a bump of this thread otherwise I may never have seen it.  Now I can barely stop laughing long enough to post a reply.

Sorry that I do not have anything constructive to add.  I think others have sufficiently pointed out sources of information which does not need to be restated.

*/me pictures how the guild tag would look over someone\'s head and bursts out laughing again.*  (Let\'s just hope their name is not \'Ima\'.)

Of course British players are probably imagining a PS cigarette, which is still pretty amusing if you think about it.

Truth be told Einnol I was happy when this thread disappeared. As much as help is good this was just.... *Searches for the words as she watches Einnol roll on the floor laughing* ..... not going anywhere. >.>

I agree Zorbels.  It is not going anywhere.  Sorry for my temporary lack of judgement.  I have regained my composure now and am willing to let this one fade away again.

For some reason, I think it will rear it\'s ugly head again someday.

Hey, who are you calling \"ugly\"

But seriously, without this guild, who can I turn to for in-game help? I haven\'t been able to get ANYTHING out of the help channel...

The help channel usually works, defender...Normally :) But turning to people for in-game help...have you tried roleplaying? You can ask somebody in game for help, provided that you do this in character :)

Yes, I guess nearly everyone had a good laugh at it, but now let it be. The abbreviation is a bit unfortunate, but hey... (sh)it happens sometimes. ;)
However, being a not-in-game guild, I think PSFAG won\'t be very successful, because most players will search for help in-game first. Some will just use the help channel, because mostly there are advisiors around, or they will try to get information out of other players by simply asking them in a role play manner(?).

Yeah, when people start saying you\'re sleeping with devs, that might mean you\'re ready for such thing. But not before.

Well, that\'s quite overdone. They just have to make sure their information is always up-to-date, and that does not require to sleep with the devs, does it? ;)

Knowledge is power, if you know how to apply it.

also who bought this thread back up anyway?
<Rux> i wish i could say that narrows it down, but the internet is one freaky place
