No problems Farren :D, this is my kitty! By the way Farren we have something in common. I to have a crazy squirrel that lives near my house. He is funny to watch because I have seen him lose his balance and fall off roofs.  :)

[edit] I forgot to put my kitties name is Nibbles, I am sure you can guess why ....

Don\'t be so neive...
Cats do almost anything because it\'s to their benefit and nothing more. The only thing cats care about are their food and children. As for the cat going near the child when people come, it\'s either because the cat thinks it has \"adopted\" the child or because the kid is the only thing that gives it attention while people are over.

The whole \"I know my cat cares about me because it loves me\" thing isnt going to explain much sorry.

Oh and so that I don\'t seem like a total ass, I had a hamster that couldnt care less about me but I still loved it.

Ok great that\'s your OPINION Efflixi Aduro. I however do not share your OPINION. So thanks for posting your OPINION I will make note of it.

[Edit] My cat associates food with me not my daughter. She does not feed Nibbles, I do.

Sorry, you don\'t know so much.  

Beyond brain patterns looked at in some lab, the only way to speculate how an animal feels is to observe behavior.

Another mystery of the animal kingdom.

/me wonders if Effixi is harboring hurt feelings from a mean kitten in his past  :-)

Serious though, sort of a moot point to argue.

LOL...ok point taken Stronith. You are very right, who is to say what they feel. Unless you are a cat or have spent years studing them who really knows......

Cats care for things that only bring benefit to them, in other words, you feed your cat and it cares for you. You stop feeding it, and it\'ll eat you when it\'s hungry. And that is a fact.

Your cat doesnt care for you and your saying it does, doesn\'t make it the truth. Stop being to nieve and in denial at the same time. -_-

Hmmm......let me think....... :O ummm.... nope my opinion still hasn\'t change. I think you missed Stroniths point as well.... I have to agree with him. Truth be told I am not sure why it is so important to you to prove yourself right.
