« on: October 29, 2005, 08:12:19 pm »
Default Block Bla Trojan Horse

That is the name of the virus my Norton Antivirus just picked up, I heard a sound effect on Planeshift right before this message, and Planeshift closed down and got blocked due to this virus

The many bugs have finally been hacked and infected, this needs looked at

That\'s the image on the download page of Ps. I think the dev\'s have enough security or sence to not put a virus in their game. I agree with Keyaz, its probably just something on your pc thats infecting files.

Hmm...Maybe, I guess I can play Planeshift again, it must have been a server crash and the virus alert happening at the same time

No, probably a virus already on your pc infected planeshift, no coincidence with the server crash I think. And you really have to get rid of Norton, it\'s really bad.

It\'s probably just your virus software acting up, some times they do that (like with The GIMP for example)

Of course like others have already pointed out, it could be a sign that you have a virus on your system that is infecting other files on your computer, so that might be worth looking into.

*edit* I was in a bad mood when I wrote that last one

The fact is, ignorance and stupidity pose a bigger threat to your computer than any virus ever did

/me gives Baurak the finger

Sorry its nothing against you. I just do that sometimes..

But as for the virus, mostlikey its just your computer, and as for norton, it aint bad. But I use others with it. Good to have multiple virus blockers. But here what you have to do.

0. Disconnect from teh interweb.

1. Format your hard drive.

2. In the computer world, there\'s no such thing as 2.

Hehe.. It\'s indeed very rare that TROJANs infect other files..

If they wouldn\'t run with mutex locks, they would only damage themselves so badly it\'s fun to think of..
