Canada oh Canada!
« on: October 31, 2005, 05:08:25 am »
Let\'s go to Canada! :D

Indeed I went! I had to regatta\'s over the course of the weekend, head of the gorge and head of the elk, both in the Victoria area. I stroked a quad at both races. They were both head races, the gorge was 5km, and the elk was 8km. Our quad took second at the elk, and 3rd at the gorge :D

Just had to tell everyone :D

Edit: Meh, I guess this is a bit too sport specific to be of any interest. :P Suffice it to say: Rowing rocks! :D

Wow, that\'s a lot of smileys, Jelly. :)

I don\'t know much about rowing, but I know a fair bit about Canada... Glad you enjoyed it! Come on back sometime!

Thanks sep :P

Of course it\'s a lot of smiley\'s Learch, it was fun, and we did quit well for our size (we have an average boat weight of about 150 per person compared to 175lb\'s+ in the other boats)

Hm, I used to live right beside Elk Lake!  Now I\'m locked in a tower in downtown Victoria.  Hope you enjoyed your stay here :)

Indeed I did, did they lock you in the carillon tower? \'Cause that would be sweet, the carillon is a really cool instrument, and from what I hear the Victoria one is perhaps the best on the continent.

I had no idea that the price for PS development is the price of freedom. :D
The internet is "the terrorists'" most important weapon, they say.
Wrong.
Fear is their most important weapon.
Ours is our freedom.
