I heard about this, but never saw it. It?s from the Belgium television about a talkshow on television called Boomerang. Fragments of the show, and an interview with the host some time afterwards are alternated. I had to laugh very badly. First I felt some ?vicarious shame?, but in the end all I could was laughing. I feel sorry for the people involved. I made a translation so you can understand what is going on.

At the beginning when you see the photos:Voice: ?17 years ago, Erik Hartman hosted a successful talk show called Boomerang, a program the caused quite some upheaval.? (the words are all kind of emotions like love, fear, sadness and passion)
Host comes in.Host: ?Marijke was 18 years old when a doctor permanently damaged her spinal cord during a standard operation. Today we talk about medical blunders.?
Host afterwards:?Boomerang was me. It was my program. It was the very first television program where people could openly talk about sorrow, emotions and sexuality. It was live and controversial, it was looked at suspiciously and I knew that if I made a mistake it would be the end. During a program about medical blunders it went terribly wrong.
Back in the show:Host: ?Marijke, what exactly happened to you??
Marijke (lady in the wheelchair): ?I?ve been hospitalized beacause of a benign tumor, I?ve been operated and? (can?t finish her words because she is taken over by emotions)
Host: ?We?ll come back to you later on. Valeir, you went to the hospital for a simple treatment, what was it about??
Valeir (man with the high voice): ?Well ehh??
Host makes a strange noice: ?Excuse me?
Valeir: ?I greatly suffered laryngitis (sore throat) which apparently had something to do with my tonsils. My doctor advised me to undergo a surgery, with this as a result.?
Host afterwards:?Valeir had a problem with his vocal cords and when he talked to me it made such a strange noice that I had to laugh. I knew of course that I shouldn?t laugh. So I tried not to laugh. But the more I concentrated on the seriousness of the topic, the more I felt: this is not going to work. It was terrible.?
Back in the show:Host: ?Marijke, you used to have a normal life, but after you woke up from the narcosis, you realized that life wouldn?t be the same again. How did you react?
Marijke: ?Primarily with disbelieve?

I found out it\'s all fake and staged, more or less a parody on (American) talkshows. So the whole clip is staged, the talk show \'Boomerang\' never existed:
It is a fragment from a Belgian (Flemish) program called In de Gloris. The program consists merely of documentaries or slices from non-existing television programs. It is so real that a lot of people didnt recognize it as being staged. But all these people are actors, and all thats funny about this vid is meant as being funny. Basically, this fragment is from a spoof show on relations and sexuality. In this particular episode the theme is medical mistakes.
