I don\'t understand this whole \'mirrors\' thing, but I\'m getting the message \'timeout waiting for worl to load\' too.

Alright everyone...The problem you all are having is that the updater is not updating itself...You have to go into the planeshift directory and change name of updater to some like oldupdater or whatever...it will then create a new updater that is the new version (apparently the updater cannont update itself when being used)...after you have the new updater you have 5 total mirrors...i believe mirrors 3 and 5 have uncorrupted DR files...(i used 5 and it worked fine and i hear 3 works too for sure)...then this should fix your problems....hopefully...

Ok guys, I have uncovered the REAL way to fix the problem.  All you have to do is to delete libmng-cs.dll and run the updater.  No thanks are necessary.

That\'s wierd, it did for me.

Try this then:
Run the updater and see which files fail to update.  Delete those files.  Rerun updater.

In that case, try to find the trepor.zip in your file system, delete it, rerun the updater, try again. :)

When i got the new trepor.zip file i had to delete my whole models file for some reason...so if your computer won\'t let you delete only trepor.zip file try deleting the whole models file (dial up beware its about 20 mb download)...

I\'m just reinstalling the whole thing, I updated the client on my parents computer just fine, which is odd :-S.  I\'ve had PS on that computer since version0.03.00.04 or something like that....waaaaayyyy back in the day!

1)  Update.  If it doesn\'t like to update something, delete it and run again.

2)  If it dies trying to update the updater (or something it needs to run), download it here and extract the zip\'s contents into your PlaneShift folder:  Click here  OR here

3)  If you\'ve done that and it didn\'t work, find (or add) the \"Planeshift.Client.User.Persisttimeout\" option in psclient.cfg and bump it up to 60 or 120 seconds.
