OMG Names dont work I have a chartacter already I cant have a Name like Lu Sacka or LasKaler I dont know its a fanesty game why cant we have FANESTY NAMES! This is messed up

Besides following Keyaz\'s advice, the Naming Rules window apears no matter what name you put in, as a reminder of what is allowed and what isn\'t. There is no \"script\" that checks your name to see if it is valid in PlaneShift or not. You will only experience problems if you know (or suspect or are just blind ignorant) of a bad choice and a GM approaches you aboud renaming, in-game.

Also keep in mind that you cannot have two capital letters in a name, so \"LasKaler\" will become \"Laskaler.\"

As for problems waiting for the world to load, ensure first that the server is up at the time of your connection attempt, and that you have UDP port 7777 open on any routers or firewalls you may have installed. You can also try to ping laanx.fragnetics.com (on Windows: Start -> Run... -> ping laanx.fragnetics.com) and if the connection times out, it\'s a problem you don\'t quite have a way of solving - just wait a bit and try again later.

* I have tryed making a new chartacter witch when I name it its comes up with a popup ing game talking about names that dont sound like real names and with i dont think \"Laskella\" sounds like a real name
- This is a bug that has acured to many of my friend and whitch im asking for an answer of why its doing that

* Also when I try to connectt to planeshift network (game server) it has an error saying \"Timeout Waiting For World To Load\" and it gives a choice of \"OK\" whitch I click and game shuts down
- I have no idea why this is havening I updated it and it still does it

As already said by Karyuu, you get the naming warning message for any name you choose. This is just a warning and by clicking on the Ok button you accept that if the name is insulting or does not fit into the game, it can be changed without informing you.

For the \"Timeout Waiting For World To Load\" error we need to know your operating system. Is it Windows, Linux or Mac? There are already many reports of the same message and you may find solutions and answers in the forums of your favorite operating system.
