There\'s a fine line between having it be realistically dark and too dark.  Myself, I would like to be able to see much more of the death realm.  I have often had darkness problems in PS (not including bugs).  There are some annoying blind spots in the tavern as well.  In the DR, in some spots in the distance I see nothing but blackness except the labels of other players floating around.  Defeats the purpose of all the great work the devs have done if you can\'t actually see the work.  ;)

In another thread, I was told to do this to fix the darkness bug.

Go to the PS icon on your desktop. RIGHT click on it to bring up the window.

Click on Properties.

Look at the path. Add \" -fullbright to the path line. NOTE the space between the \" and -fullbright. Do not add the \", that is just the last thing on the path line.

Click Apply, and OK.

Start the game, and it will be fine.

You must redo this if the updater replaces the exe file for the game.

In complete honesty, its only a black area if the area is black. It isn\'t. When I first got my computer, I had to tweak my computer screen with a few buttons, and lighted it, widened, etc.

Its only dark because your running on a default screen, try tweaking it a bit ;)
