This updater is getting on my nerves...
« on: November 07, 2005, 09:44:55 pm »
Is there a way to switch mirrors before updating? Mirrors 1 and 2 are seriously slow, and yesterday when my updater automatically switched to the 3rd mirror when the other two were down, it was so much faster...

Yes you can manually choose wich mirror you want to use by going into your updaterconfig with WordPad...then finding this line

Then change the \"1\" to \"3\" if that is the mirror you want to always use...

Alright then, thanks (it will only be temporary when the other mirrors are running slow)

Try changing the active mirror.

Have you tried disabling sound, and perhaps running the updater in recover mode?
