I know dransik has farming, but this game to have farming would be interesting indeed, for everything would be in 3D, and on top of that, in real life, it takes months to grow something, so i dont know how things would work. Also, it would be neat if there were day/night sequences, which would be cool, just like The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, only without the crashes, lol. that was a great game, but if your a fighter, its almost too easy to win, as long as you have the right equiptment, which is easy to get if you know where to go. But anyways, This looks like it will be a great game. Also, when will we be able to start playing the game...not just as a tech demo? Also, will our characters when created, be saved as each of the stages of production complete? if so great. If not, oh well. Good luck.

We will be able to play not just a tech demo, when a playable version comes out, The tech demo is playable... You just have to wait, THe developers don\'t even know when a fully playable version will be out.

Some really nice ideas there

and that politician joke was funny

I was thinking

I think everything should be interactive if it can. Like if someone dies you can take their skull and bones and make it into bone armor

or if you really wanna get dirty

Going back to my D&D Style thinking

if your Chaotic or Evil,

YOu can make armor out of human flesh after you defeat someone in the arena

Some saddistic thoughts voldengrath, i like that:)

i also like the idea(explorer mentioned) of having castles or forts for the different guilds, and the leader could be the king.

that sounds pretty good, hopefully this will be added.
and also the horse riding seems pretty nice

I am not sure what to say, but I am surprised slightly at the guild house combat idea.

I was just exploring the concept a tad, before reading this, but I see that this has been posted a while ago.

So, I?ll Say ?Great Idea Voldengrath? :-) couldn?t have come up with a better idea myself.

Actually I am currently thinking about what should be Guild privileges, or what players in guilds can do as opposed to players outside guilds,
For example:
1.what are the benefits of being in a guild?
2.what are the downsides of being in a guild? (guild dues :-) )
3. what should we have in the game to encourage people to be in a guild?
4. what should we do to encourage guilds to help starting players along?
5. what type of guilds should there be?
6. should guilds be focused or more general?
7. should there be conflicts with other guilds?
8. how should these conflicts be resolved so that it is fun for all, and not just something that takes place very rarely?
 9. if there is conflict how do we keep it so that it does not become a point of grief?
10. guild prizes for achievements?
11. how to make it so that 1 or 2 Uber power-gamer guilds have to struggle if they want to be on top, not just being on top because they have the best equipment and the highest end players.
12. should there be thieves guilds?
13. if there is what is there purpose, other then just grief for the other guilds?

All these things and a few more I am pondering at the moment, not sure what will be implemented or not?but at least it is being thought about by the dev team.

If any of you have any suggestions feel free to put them forth here, now may be a good time.

But also keep in mind that some things will not happen, if it causes grief or diminishes the playing experience of the majority?it is not going to happen.

Also some pretty decent ideas I have not mentioned here because the ramifications are being debated and worked out, so just because I may have forgotten to mention the obvious doesn?t mean it is not being thought about?then again I may just not have thought about it so please mention it.

They should gain either money or exp. for helping a certain # of new players and getting them set up, but only if the new player agrees that they helped them enough (so they cannot start helping then dump them once they gain enough exp. or money)

I think that should be up to the guild leader, although I gues smost of them would just be good/neutral/evil just like in any other game (I don\'t like it that way, but its what happens)

I personally think they should be more focused, but I think the majority of people would like it to be general

Yes, even if its not in the game, it will happen on messageboards or something like that...better to let them resolve their problems in-game (like venting)

Free-range guild wars, that would be so much fun :P

If the free-range guild wars are implemented, it\'d be quite easy for small guilds to band together and take them down (something else I would really like to see)

no, I do not think there should be....they should remain unofficial

Those are just my opinions to the ones I either have an opinion on or really want to see  (although they may have been influenced by the majority more than I like) but I dont expect to see them all just as I like (no matter how hard I try :P )  so....yea

3.What should we have in the game to encourage people to be in a guild?

guilds could have advantages on weapons and armor, for example like they could get weapons and armor for a lower price, or get more special weapons or get like very neat staffs and stuff

almost all the other questions have been answered by kiern and i think he answered them well

My opinion is that guild advantages should be from their additional cohesion and teamwork and not because the game is giving them stat bonuses.  Having an identity as a group is a very powerful draw--so much so that PS has dozens of guilds when it doesn\'t exist yet!

I don\'t think we need more motivation.

I must agree with Vengeance, when you are a member of a large guild perhapes your guild to organize events such as killing some tough monster that just a few people wouldn\'t be able to handle.  Perhapes your guild could also help you on quest and such.  And of course there is always the roleplaying aspect.

Ok...sounds good! I was wondering...will you be able to just buy your own fort, or could you actually plan it out and build it yourself? Also, for the fort you gotta have a moat and a drawbridge and a portcullis, maybe some vats of boiling tar to pour onto the bad peeps, cause that would just be fun. (Battering rams anyone?) Maybe have some mounted crossbows in the windows? :]
...hehe...elipses...hehe......weeeee....I like elipses.....fun fun elipses.........elipses is like...elispsesish.....okay...I\'m done now...gah...just did it again...ah man...there it was again...I keep doing it...NUUUU!!!! There...all better...oh wha? NO! :D I\'m okay now...or not...
