and No, Ive concluded that that PC\'s pwn consoles.  Longer lifespan, upgradeable, albeit a bit more expensive.

okay seems like Xbox-360 isn\'t that popular around here, what about a PS3?  I\'m waiting for it...

My roommates convinced me to split the cost up with them...I\'m only doing it for the new perfect dark, however.

Well, I even dare to extend this statemant to \"It seems like consoles aren\'t that popular around here\".
And if you have a PC (like most people here ), there should be no reason to buy a console, because PCs are more flexible.

The XBox 360 alone runs on a triple core processor, each core running at just over 3.0ghz.

Except you can\'t really hook 4 controls up to a computer and play with some people.  Which is all I really care about.  So yes, there is at least one reason.
