Ban without reason !

Hi there,
I just start to play PlaneShift and it seem to be great.
I create my first character last night, and due to the hour just start to play there is 30 minutes.
And after doing some sight seing (and die du to a stupid fall from a wall :-), I have been banned for 1 year !!!
What the matter ? I have say \"hello\" to everybody, I don\'t put my fingers in my nose, don\'t have any weapon, don\'t attack anybody (a dwarf save my life from a monster or something like that), in a word I don\'t understand !
My player name is something like Assblaster Smasherboy (or switch blaster and smasher) I don\'t think that this funny name (it make me laught :-) is the cause of a whole year ban but I cannot see anything else so...
If any admin can explain why I am ban he makes me happy !
And if you don\'t allow funny names please ban only the character not the whole account !!!!

Anyway, this game seems to be great :D

I know the policy, I understand the offense - still...

This thread made me laugh so hard (especially the name) that I say unban him and rename him and talk to him abit about ingame naming and such.  Seriously that name is so stupidly hilarious - I must have been at a downpoint in my humor today because that totally busted me up!

Seriously someone unban him - rename him - and lets all go on our way.

I agree.  A ban without even discussing it with the player as to why is just not cool.  I am sure the banner thought it had to be a beligerant headcase and opted to just get rid of him, but a moment of discussion for him to say what he said here would have shown that he was only guilty of not reading the right information and poor taste.

Well.. At least someone asked to change my dirty MB name.. instead of ban me..

I agree a banning was a little harsh... and the name is to funny but not planeshift material. ;)
