i actually ment the entire thread, if she (arcanacat) had take 2 seconds to use the serch function she would have seen that there are about 12 dozen similar threads alredy on the forums, had she taken a further 5 min to read said threads she would not have learned anything less than has been posted here, infact she would probably have learned a good deal more

the entire thread is just a waste of space, cluttering up an already busy forum.

The Downloads section on the main PlaneShift website offers instructions for creating an account:

To play PlaneShift you have to download one of the files below depending on your platform, and then register a new account.

After filling in and submitting the registration form, you will receive an email with a link to the activation page. If there is a problem with account activation, check these two threads. When activation is complete, start the game, type your email address in the \"username\" field, type your password in \"password\" field, and click \"Login.? You will then be brought to character selection screen, and since you are new player, you will have to create a new character (simply click on the first empty slot).

Before loading the world however, make sure that you have updated both the game client and your graphics card drivers. The PlaneShift updater utility can be found in your main PS directory, and Start->Programs->Planeshift Crystal Blue->Planeshift Updater if you?re on Windows. While waiting for the updater to finish its work, I would suggest you read the Player Guide, and browse through a few stickies found in the various forum sections. Some of the most useful stickies include:

Character Naming Policy - Must Read!
A Guide to Role-Playing
How to Report In-Game Abuse
On Guilds and their creation
Guide to 2D/3D Contribution

Try to before posting new threads, either for suggestions or bug reports, and remember, you can also use the in-game Help channel for any questions in the game world - an Advisor will try to help you ASAP.
