Texture Artist Needed.

Wanted:  Talented artist with uv mapping/texturing expirence

Requirements: No specific requirements.

Background: I have a rogue 3D development team assembled to complete a little project.  Because of some of our goals I cannot really describe it publically, and all discussion takes place on hidden forum boards with permission granted only to team members.  We also have a ftp server for work sharing/organiztion.


It all sounds vague, but PM me and I can give you a bit more background.

This is not only off-topic, since it\'s not PS related, it is also draining developers from PS, it seems. Both are reasons to have this, at best, in the plaza, not in the fanart forum section.

Yes it is PS related - in fact completely specifically so.  This is kind of like uber fan art except that the goals of the project dictate that tons of info on it can\'t be public.  No PS devs are involved in this project other than to say keep going and a bit of encouragement.  I\'m asking for volunteers to work on a fun PS related project and one of the things the project needs is texture artists.  

I hope that this post against me Seytra is not vengeful as a result of me being somewhat harsh on your treatment of newer players in a recent thread.  I am going to assume that they are not related, but it did surprise me to see your post.  I am not doing anything wrong and especially not something that hurts PS - in fact the goal of the project is to help PS. The work of this project is to be completely donated to PS and the atomic blue foundation.

In the future please do not derrange or make assumptions about my intentions in such a way.  It is rude and unfounded.

I apologize if I sound offended but we have put alot of hours into this and it is important to us. We want to give back to PS and the PS community and this is our way of doing so.  Calling it off topic and saying it drains PS devs are both simply unfounded statments.

You shouldn\'t be surprised, though. From the way it was posted, with the lack of detail and specification, the necessary conclusion is that it is something that does not have any relation to PS, and at best is some sort of poorly thought out private homepage, at worst a try of starting an own MMORPG project, and the attempt to, by disguising it as PS related, abuse the FA board to recruit for that. Obviously neither would be acceptable anywhere but in the plaza, and even there only barely.

Meanwhile I have noticed another thread in the plaza that seems to be connected to this one, though there were several instances of coincidence involved in that, one of them being that I usually shun the plaza.

Due to the connection I mentioned I am inclined to agree. However, the fact remains that this was (and still is) not deductible from the OP, so all I can say is that my conclusions that seemed pretty obvious turned out to be wrong, and I apologise for that.

Its ok All\'s good.  If this could be moved back to the fan art section that would be good too, but I\'ve already PM\'d a mod about that so it may be getting done soon anyways.  I\'m not trying to pick a fight with you by any means, but I just tend to be a little protective of my team because of the level of commitment they have put in.

Thats cool I believe you.  Some people are like that I was hoping you wern\'t.  I know we clash a bit regarding the treatment of \"dumb\" or \"repeat\" questions, especially from new players, but thats all I want it to be - a disagreement on an idea - healthy disagreements combined with healthy responsible discussion often yield better results than one sided discussions since more than one perspective is presented.

I was kind of hoping people who didn\'t quite get it would simply not post at all.  The nature of the project unfortunately requires me to be vague on details, so I wasn\'t really able to provide a lot.  I simply didn\'t even consider that I would have to somehow confirm its relation to PS.
