Did you check the report time? What message did the server give you exactly? What happens when you type the following in Terminal: \"ping laanx.fragnetics.com\"

The server is currently down. Remember, the status can usually be checked through instructions stickied in the Server section of the forum.

I just restarted it.  The server was in one of it\'s \"Infinte loop\" sequences.  I have to figure out a way to detect that an inform me of that situation.

@ acraig:

I know this Problem from my job. We use a external process wich \"pings\" (requests an answer from) the server on a  regular base. If the server fails to answer, the external process sends an alert.

I dont know it was  the side box that had petty much the correct time on it, when  I refreshed it told there was 76 people so Im guessing it was theat time.
\"server is not  running or not reachable please check forums or website for info\" also when I go into the game  and get to the login page it tells me to wait and then  \"fail1\" appears.

when i put that into the terminal I got :

Rehukere: Check laanx.fragnetics.com for status before complaining about the server being down! He probably did restart it... and it locked up again.

dying_inside: redownload the updater and update again. Then, check laanx.fragnetics.com (if the reports are more than a minute apart or there are no people online, the server has probably crashed). If the server is up, go ahead and log in. :)

Which updater? And what message do you get exactly? If it\'s the Java updater, get it manually... if not, try the Java updater. :)

P.S. Use mirror 2 or 3...

your updater. your  updater auto updates itself and  I think you said that was for   10.4.x  which  I dont have.  so im guessing its updateing itself to an updater that can only run on  10.4.

Ok, try redownloading it manually and trying again. I may not have put the latest updater up, so I\'ll look into that when I get home.

EDIT: Ok, Updater is definitely the right version now. Grab Updater-old.jar from the Guide and tell me if it works out alright. Make sure you don\'t change its name!

No problem. You probably just had the old version which had a bug in auto-update system. ;)
