I just thought my instructions may help...

If you are having problems with installing Planeshift, you can have a look at http://www.foxgamer.net/lottery.html

These are the steps that I used to get up and running happily under ubuntu, but they should work for any debian based linux.

For step 5 you just ran ./PlaneShift_CBV0.3.012P-r2.i686.bin correct?
