how will 3rd person be indoors?

if it works the same way as outdoors but only going as high as to the roof, there may be some problems

i dont actully have any better ideas just curious on how you are doing this

I agree it is a problem.  I am hoping most people will play in 1st person view.

Well you could always switch between 3rd and 1st person indoors.... Or you could mebbe make it automatic?

You can do it,

or you can just make it 3rd person, and make the buildings transparent, i forgot the other way some games do it though...

I think the \"transparent roof\" approach is most common for the 3rd person view angle. I have always liked first person view best even in flight simulation games becuase it just feels more realistic to me.
