Building a new one is perfectly fine - you just have to make sure it is a Rangers Guild ;) CUrrently, that\'s iffy.
Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

Umm... \'cause you can\'t revive things that are still alive? I mean, seriously, the word kinda hints that y\'know... (mumbles on for hours)

I don\'t have the time to read the whole thread, but when I read the title I thought \"again?\".

I should warn you, surviving members of the original Rangers are now prone to random violent outbursts.  Funny, that.

UPDATE: I am sorry to announce that I will not be as active in Yliakum anymore. I will be in and out, and always on the forums I\'m sure, but I am moving to a game called Martial Heroes. I am not advertising, please stay with PlaneShift, it is a good place. But I need something with more gameplay without roleplay for now. My gaming moods come and go in phases. Sometimes I really want to play FPS games online, sometimes I go back to message board RPing, then I go to MMORPGs that aren\'t base mainly on RPing. I\'ll be back to PS after a while, but for now I am staying with Martial Heroes. I will be starting a guild on there as soon as I reach level 48 and get 30 gold. Any members of PS, especially the members of the Rangers of Yliakum, are welcome to join Martial Heroes and help me if they wish. Believe me, I\'m going to need all the help I can get to make the money, though I do have such benefactors on there from PS such as Sirunie and Burules. But I\'d rather not leech so much from people who will not even be in the guild.

Well, back on the topic, I\'m sorry to go inactive ingame, but that\'s how it is. On Martial Heroes, my ingame name is FarrenwdaKutter (horrible mistake, I think i made the character when I was half asleep). If you would like a list of the other people from Planeshift that have joined Martial heroes, PM me, and I\'ll tell you the ones I know.

Sincerely,
Farren Kutter

A little more than two weeks ago, you revived this thread. Why?
Now, I know that youv\'e already decided to become inactive in PS and join Martial Heroes instead, but what will happen when you get bored and decide to come back? Will you re-launch Rangers of Yliakum once again?
I\'m just saying that you should think more about timing. I wouldn\'t join your guild, neither would I have you join mine, if I knew that you could dissapear all of a sudden...
Btw, will you have people running Rangers of Yliakum while you\'re gone?

I wish you good luck in Martial Heroes and hope to see you come back soon! ;) With friends to help you, Im sure youll be able to start your guild there in no-time hehe

Yes, i may have someone run the Rangers while I\'m gone, though, like I said, I\'ll be in and out of PS. MH may be better than Planeshift in all gameplay aspects and graphics and systems and everything, but I don\'t believe it could ever beat PS for community or friends. I will return, mainly because of the many friends and nice people I have met here, such as my friends like Constrabus and.... well.... To tell the truth, my real friends all seem to have gone away and some have moved to Martial Heroes... My friends like Sirunie, Burules, Aroura, Eleloy. Most of my friends seem to have faded away. Many I don\'t really talk to anymore. My co-leader Kallis doesn\'t even come on anymore, and he has been with me since the start of my guild. I think maybe I should have given up on the guild a while ago. It is a dead guild trying to live again, not many of the members come on... I\'m just too stubborn to let go I guess. It\'s mainly my fault, I\'m a horrible guild leader, I can\'t teach the new members worth crap, and many fade away because when I teach I make it boring. Oh well. I\'ll await feedback i guess. Maybe if someone would like to take up the guild and revitalize it, they can keep the guild as long as they promise to keep it a Ranger guild and make it better than i have. I just don\'t have the time to manage a guild in an RP based world these days, too much homework and school and stuff. I\'ve failed at being a guild leader so far, only keeping going because it was my dream. Oh well. I\'m sure someone else can do better than I.

EDIT: Forget I said anything about leaving, i\'m staying, but also making a guild on MH still. But I am going to stick with PS as well.
