Always run
« on: December 17, 2005, 06:12:13 am »
I\'m a bit new around here so forgive me if I post something that is common knowledge.

I think the default for run modification is shift.  Well I was getting a cramped hand so I played around with the options and found that if you set the run modification button to the same key as your forward key you will always run (shift to walk).

I hope this helps someone.  It seems more people run than walk.

Should be just the opposite, but that\'s an unrealistic hope of mine... ;)
Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

Yes, I\'ve done that before.  It makes things much simpler.  There\'s also an auto-run button you can set in the options, to toggle running on/off, and a mouse-run mode.

That\'s because most people are in a hurry, the walking goes a little too slow I think, so they run. Some are also on an \"exp grind\" and don\'t care much about roleplay I think :(

Anyway mostly I run too, because I get around faster.Walking is something I do when it fits in the roleplay :)

Anyway Kirk, thanks for the hint, wouldn\'t have thought about it myself :D
