i can't get past the loading screen!!!

hey this might not be the right place for this but still. when ever i try to load the map i get an error and it kicks me out is there anything i could do about this?

this is what the error says.

Something unexpected happened in PlaneShift: Crystal Blue
Details: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION at 7C00724A

! This has been discussed before :) The issue is sound related, so open up your PlaneShift setup application (on Windows, it\'s accessible through Start -> Programs -> PlaneShift Crystal Blue -> PlaneShift Setup) and disable it - \"Off\" is the last option beneath \"Sound Options.\"

XP settings for your virtual memory could also be your problem. If XP is set to run without virtual memory(not uncommon) you could try changing so that it does.

The specific address (7C00724A) it is sound related as a quick search shows. But running XP without virtual memory (unless you have 1 GB or more RAM) can be the reason behind many other crashes with different addresses.
