Moogie,
I regret that I never really got to know you, and I will miss your effective and often hilarious moderation.  It was actually your wit that got me hooked on these forums in the first place, and then the forums helped me to realize what the PS community was like, which helped me to get even more hooked on the game itself.  I will also miss your writings, for you are an excellent writer.
I don\'t feel that I know you well enough to add you to my MSN...so I hope you come by #planeshift (or any of the other PS related channels we both frequent) from time to time and say hello.  I know, you won\'t want to talk about PlaneShift...but how often do we stay on topic?
   You will be missed.
Yliakum, a really big crystal. These are the voyages of the Explorers Guild.  Its ongoing mission: to explore strange new maps, to seek out new life and new NPCs.  To boldly glitch where no one has glitched before.

I wholeheartedly support any charity organization which will come and make the distribution of rusty razor blades and documentation of their use to emos its goal. I will even be willing to donate to it, and point to this thread as a good source for a list of people who could use such razor blades and a detailed explanation of the exact way slicing should be performed.

Remember - Cut along the blue line, not across it.

People dug themselves out of their holes to say this?  Get over yourselves and ignore the thread, it is not a difficult thing to do.

I think RussianVodka\'s sig sums up what the average newbie sees of Moogie fairly well.

RussianVodka\'s sig
Q: How many Planeshifters does it take to expalin a simple concept to a newb?
A: Six. Five to argue on who\'s explanation is right, and Moogie to lock the thread.

That\'s all I saw of her until I got into IRC, but ... yeah... the post ends here....

*hug* you said it in a way my intelligence would not let me do, and would also end up as a deleted post.

You managed to quote yourself instead of editing, Efflixi :> Fixed it some. Lock-o-matic? I\'d make no such denials in the Wishlist ;) Otherwise, unlikely.
Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

The only enemies I have are things like pride and the failures of memory.  A person cannot be an enemy because, in the end, we are all on the same side.

Things like this happen all the time.  She\'s not dieing, people.  If she means so much to you, get her msn, join her \'new\' MMORPG, and write her the occassional letter.  All this melodrama detracts from perspective.

...

Hmmh...interesting thing to state. *thinks a bit on this*
A person CAN be an enemy. Don\'t tell me George Bush is on my side, most peoples sides even. I consider him a threat for the world and the people and so on and so on. I\'m not going to make this into a discussion because as we all know people are pro him and people are contra him..
Buuuut for another example. I\'m from Belgium ey...Weell, you can\'t say Adolf Hitler wasn\'t our enemy right? You can\'t say he was on our side...Killed a couple of millions here. Soo...

Persons can be enemies because sides can differ quite a bit.

...Did I go off-topic? :D

George Bush and Hitler were both doing what they thought would make the world a better place.  I could argue that the real enemy was Ignorance, Greed, and Hatred.  And if you believe that the latter two both stem from ignorance, then you\'re only left with the one.

All of this is subjective of course.

Hmmh...you got a point there. It IS subjective, but I can agree with what you\'re saying. Best intentions can turn out horrible.

Well if Hitler had won WW2 we wouldn\'t have any terrorism now and we\'d probably be much more advanced technology wise... but there would be a lot of dead people and most of us wouldn\'t be here now. So it might not have turned out horrible depending on who you are. :)
*shrug* offtopic anyway. Moogie is on my msn list so I don\'t see what the fuss is :P

Stating all people want the world to be a better place isn\'t true anyway.
At best many want the world to be a better place for them. But I don\'t really want the world to be a better place for a random corrupted politician, so I don\'t see the logic behind this.
