Your character
can indeed run - usually by holding your left shift key and the up arrow. If this doesn\'t work, bring up your Options window (hit O or use the top menu) and look in the keyboard section. The run and walk animations are currently the same (will be taken care of as soon as... it\'ll be taken care of), but the speed definitely differs :)
Maps (particularly overhead/mini-maps) aren\'t going to be found in-game. There will be a cartography skill for players in the future however, that will allow them to create their own (and possibly share/sell to others). In the meantime, there have been a few zoomed-out screenshots of various areas on the forums that folks have used. You will have to search yourself (with the Search tool, of course) as they are not gathered in one place. Also, just so you\'re aware - \"spoiler\" maps, such as color-coded maps of sewers and similar locations, are not allowed to be publicly posted, so you might have to ask around elsewhere :) A really nice map of Hydlaa was posted some time ago in the Screenshots thread in General Discussion, I believe.
