I am new and in need

I an relitively new. I started and noticed that there arn\'t many graphics for the races I hope those will be implemented soon because the game looks great. I was wondering when I finished making my caracter I started walking around, got lost, found out where I was, got a quest, got lost then got another quest, the thing I am wondering is can I see what I have to do for the quest like the name of who I have to go to? How do I get money? How do I leave the starting town? ^_^ I know I am kinda annoying but I will be really thankful if someone answers my questions.

Most questions about the behaviour in game are best asked in game; either to people standing nearby, (especially near the forge), or in the \"Help\" channel.

But for the quests... many are not yet complete. Better look for quests prepared by Game Masters and Roleplaying Masters. They appear sometimes a bit suddenly, but usually don\'t require much experience, and you are well rewarded.

Hiya, and welcome to PlaneShift! Graphical variety will definitely be found in-game, as soon as the PlaneShift artists and coders finish it all ;) Leaving the starting town really depends which town you started in - Akkaio or Hydlaa. But asking anyone to help you out, or exploring on your own, can be quite fun. Money can be received through quests, hunting, and mining at the moment, but more options will be found later on as well.

The key is to have fun, no matter what you do, and roleplay! :D Make friends, form bonds, adventure together. It\'s a very social game.

Congratulations...You wandered around, got lost, got a quest, got lost again, and got another quest, all of this without ending up in Death Realm :) Quite an extraordinary thing to do I might say...

In case Drey wants to tell you something about a god, or Draklar...I am your one and only god... :P Joking...

Anyway, enjoy the game, the testing, and the community.


EDIT: Oh by the way, Karyuu, you forgot to give the usual \"Use the search button at all times\" and \"Useful threads to newbies, By Karyuu\" ... :P But I\'ll leave the honor to you because you\'re just so good at it :)

Thanks. I also have another question. At the beginning in the sewers will there be more rats to kill because I cant kill anything else yet and there are only three rats. :(

Beginning of the sewers? You -have- explored deeper, right? ;) There are far more than just three rats roaming through the dark corridors. Or if you don\'t like the damp atmosphere, you could always try ridding the warehouse of Akkaio from rats.

Try to avoid bigger things, then ;) How about wandering over to Akkaio, then? Ask for directions in-game, if you\'ve never been to the other city before, and you\'ll find more rats in the warehouse.

Yes :D The whole city is actually named Ojaveda. Akkaio is the only currently open Dsar, or section. Reminds me very much of a desert settlement.

Ok good cause I am right there :)... but it was hard cause I had to go through the \"black waste\" I got lost and fell off a moutain or two, but in the end I made it. :) I feel so proud. and its a very pretty city.

It is the wonderful road to to Akkaio with a lot of hills and places to discover :) Download a relighted map here and enjoy the real beauty of it.
