the idea would be more handy for newbies who wonder into the sewers and spend 3 hours trying to get out... plus it was an idea...things like that are made to be worked on and built up not used as is :P

Sep\'s suggestion wouldn\'t help newbies, unless they\'ve high INT ;)
Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

So it\'ll help those who are playing sage/wizard characters. Good for people playing characters smarter than themselves. That was always a problem in the tabletops :P

I think Sep\'s idea is brilliant to tell the truth.... it sure would give me a reason to train my INT. I like the idea a lot, and it would add a nice amount of realism to the game.

if this happened would people just walk forward and backwards beside the point and eventually they would memorize everything.

Other than that good idea..

a maps not gunna tell you if the Ulbers are hiding a treasure or gaurding a prisoner. Maps in PS wont probably show when things are moving or where treasure is. (unless its a treasure map).

if you walk forward and backwards 100 times around a point im sure you will remember it too.

I think its a great idea, but how quick it becomes long term memory will also be affected by intelligence
