Everything\'s working. Thanks Ylikone :D

Plus, I\'ve only accounted the aproximate number of active members.
It\'s no problem for a guild like the Dark Empire to update on the number of active members. But the leaders of guilds with 100 members don\'t even know half their members, let alone know who is active or not.

Yes. This is a critic to mass recruiting guilds.

1) fine I\'ll put the number of the ones that are active
2) yes, I DO know all of my members thank you very much
3) btw if you are criticizing us, all our members have joined in a span of 5-6 months, we do not go out actively hunting down everyone who is not in a guild and invite them...

Hey, I just thought I\'d say that the Feline\'s Lair could be removed from the list since Ayshe has officially disbanded it. :)

I was just gonna say the same thing. See, um... Ayshe volunteered me to do the updating, and um... I kinda lost the password and all... so...

Allow me to use both this and the other player created lists to further my arguments on my We Need Info On Alignment thread.

Analysing these two lists we can see that they both use an alignments system. It seems to be similar to the Dungeon & Dragon one.
Anywho, why would they do that? Because PS doesn\'t inform the players about the existence or lack of a PS alignment system and so players act on their lack of information, adopting systems alien to the game.

I don\'t agree with the usage of an alignment system in any of these lists, since PS has yet to decide if such a thing exists or not.

If characters in PS speak English (or \'the human tongue\') then one must know...well the words in it.  Good and Evil are definitely in the language and therefore are set up for interpretation by each individual character in-game.  When I was oh, say, 5 years old, and didn\'t know what \'evil\' meant, I knew of other words, \"mean\", \"nasty\", \"bullies\", \"people-who-think-they-are-the-best-at-everything-and-should-own-everything\" (didn\'t know the word egocentric then).  All can fit into the definition of evil, by many people\'s interpretation at the very least.  Therefore, in-game, there is good and evil, just like in every world.  Though who is actually good and who is actually evil is dependent on the person\'s point of view (someone who wants to conquer the world may say democracy is evil for instance) may say they are good.

Just because the game makes no \"boundaries\", or a set division, or even an option to check off at character creation for good and evil, doesn\'t mean there is no good and evil in-game.

My decision to allow showing your guild allignment on guildlisting.com came from looking at the many static guild listings that are already on the net.  ALL OF THEM have alignments.  So, I figured mine should also.

I agree with you ylikone, plus, it gives people looking for a guild a quicker way to filter out the ones they dont want to be in.

And shorty, you are as right as I am.
Because you are speaking about IC good and evil and I\'m speaking about being informed OOC about PS\'s choice on an alignment system.

I have to disagree on the advantage you named for the alignment system as vehemently as I once agreed with it.
Because I now think the small description does a far better work.
Plus, since Yliakum is such a new world to most, so original and creative, I think it would add to it having its inhabitants free of old tagging systems like D&Ds :P.

So don\'t take me wrong. I do agree that characters call each other good and evil (considering they have arguments, senses or mental disorders), I just don\'t agree with players tagging characters and guilds using alien systems with uncertain sources. And I understand they can do little else until the PS team itself has taken a stand on that.

*struggles to be on topic*
And Ylikone, I was thinking... Maybe you could add some lines in those tables, I think they would look prettier :D

Hey everybody, just wanted to bump this long dead thread and say that the site still exists and is still operating.  Remember to login and update your guild info sometime if you have one listed on the site.

The guild The Way of the Hammer needs updating, we have a new leader and council, along with a new web site and many more members. to do this I would need access to edit it.

If anybody has a guild that they have taken over and need access to their guild entry, just email me ylikone@gmail.com and tell me what login/pw you want and I can modify it.

Would it be possible to add a feature where if a guild leader doesn't log in say, every month, then their listing is suspended? This is just a thought about how to keep the dead guilds out...

Also, you really need to work on the graphics...

That's possible to do - I know Nilaya has Explorers who don't log into our forums in a couple of months go into an "Inactive" group. I've no idea how that's done, but contacting Nil about it is bound to be useful.
