Updater just goes on and on...

Hello,

I\'ve downloaded PlaneShift_CBV0.3.012 and all seems well and i\'ve been updating for ages now, there is a main big update at the start and then i have been updating files or 101kb & 68 i think about 40 times.

for the last hour anyways and still no end to it.

am i doing somthing wrong like have the wrong client?

when i try to launch plenshift from the updater page it says i cant while im updating.

i did exit and try to join again but it cancelled the installation and i had to go through it all again.

maybe it just takes a long time, but it seems to me like its just repeating itself.

any help appreciated

Hiya,

I don\'t think the updater is repeating anything, unless you actually see the same file names over and over. Leave it running - one hour, two, three, however long it takes (aye, it can take that long). Don\'t interrupt, let it finish, and then run the game :)

You can also try running the updater in recover mode - if you\'re using Windows, find it in Start -> Programs -> PlaneShift Crystal Blue -> PlaneShift Updater (Recover), or with a similar name.

Thanks i\'ll do that. the updates are not the same size so i guess your correct.

I\'ll keep updating, i\'m sure i\'ll get there soon =)
